Hi, I'm Scott
Well… how did I arrive at this juncture of life as a photographer.
It started in 1975 at age 15, when my father gave me a Konica Minolta rangefinder film camera. I was transfixed by it and all that was camera and film. I learned by doing and worked in the gang darkroom the local VFW Post. I loved making prints the old school way with the filed-out neg carriers and the smell of chemicals in the tray. Kodachrome slides and School of Visual Arts followed, and the passion for it all has sustained me ever since, right into the digital era! I shoot all the time even if I’m not on a job and love and live the experience totally. My thirty-plus years since my first camera have been filled with journeys and explorations, 8x10 view cameras, Hasselblad medium format cameras, little Leicas and an immersion in the modern digital process. I’m loving the journey and would like to share it with you!
